To prevent ranking distortion caused by boosting and ensure that individual performance is fairly reflected, we would like to suggest shifting the Ranking System toward a greater focus on solo content.
We understand the concerns that including party content such as Elite Hideout, Altar of Memories, and Altar of Lost Memories in the Season Rankings can lead to rankings becoming concentrated around certain fixed parties, creating fatigue and a sense of unfairness both within and outside Alliances.
We also recognize that party content, which should encourage players to enjoy the game together, can instead become a burden for newer players and Alliances.
To ensure that individual effort and skill are reflected more fairly in the rankings, we are reviewing the following improvements:
- Greater Emphasis on Individual Performance: Reassessing the Season Ranking scoring structure to increase the weight of individual challenge records.
- Redefining the Value of Alliance Cooperation: Improving the ranking structure so that helping Alliance members contributes to positive results for the Alliance as a whole, rather than becoming a one-sided burden on certain players.
While a large-scale restructuring may take some time, we will first review adjustments that can be applied within the current Season structure and introduce them gradually.
Thank you sincerely for your valuable feedback.
Even with the same rewards, we would like to suggest adding an option for players to challenge 'Kraken Nightmare Mode' for better ranking times.
We understand the disappointment of players who enjoyed learning and overcoming mechanics with their party in last week's Kraken Nightmare Mode.
We also recognize that during a competitive Season, clear times can be heavily influenced by random pattern occurrences rather than individual skill.
To address this, we are reviewing several options for introducing higher-difficulty challenges based on different playstyles:
- Difficulty Selection: Allowing players to choose between Hard Mode for rewards and Nightmare Mode for ranking challenges.
- Enhanced Challenges: Adding higher-difficulty content and challenges that better reflect player skill and mastery, such as no-damage clears.
Rather than applying these changes immediately, we plan to introduce them gradually after the upcoming new Altar of Lost Memories dungeon is released, to ensure a more polished overall system.
We will continue working to provide high-Momentum players with challenging content that brings back the excitement of mastering difficult encounters.
Thank you sincerely for your valuable feedback.
Since the current selection of poses is limited, we would also like to suggest a Pose Suggestion Event, where selected ideas could be rewarded with a small amount of Golden Dragon.
We understand that the current variety of emotes and poses available in the game is somewhat limited.
Based on your feedback, we plan to make more emotes available for direct purchase in the Shop, allowing players to choose and obtain the ones they want.
We are also preparing additional ways to obtain emotes for free, so that players can enjoy them without any purchase requirement.
Details on the available items and update schedule will be shared through a future notice once they are finalized.
Thank you sincerely for your valuable feedback and continued support for the game.
We would like to suggest allowing both the Scorpion mechanic and the dungeon to be completed with a 3-player party.
We understand the frustration caused when progress is blocked due to an insufficient number of players.
Based on your feedback, we plan to adjust the difficulty of the Scorpion (Large Crossbow) mechanic so that the dungeon can still be completed even if the party starts with fewer players or a member leaves during the run.
We will share the detailed update schedule and implementation details through a future notice.
We would like to suggest easing the purchase limits on Equipment Chests, such as allowing certain chests to be purchased daily.
In addition, reduced equipment drops have made it much harder to obtain desired Skill Engraving Parts.
We would also like to suggest restoring Epic Equipment drops from Hideout monsters and bosses, or increasing the acquisition rate and daily reward limit for Engraving Parts in Besieged Site.
We understand the concerns regarding surplus Silver Pieces and the reduced availability of Skill Engraving Parts following the recent Hideout rework.
The purpose of this rework was not to reduce overall rewards, but to reduce the burden of repeatedly running multiple Hideouts across several characters.
The current exchange limits were designed so that players can obtain comparable rewards with fewer runs, while surplus Silver Pieces can still be spent on other weekly exchange items.
For this reason, we currently do not plan to increase the purchase limits on Equipment Chests, as doing so could once again create pressure to farm additional Silver Pieces.
However, to improve the overall reward experience, we plan to make the following adjustments in the September 30 update:
- Add higher-grade Legendary Equipment to the Silver Piece Exchange Shop Equipment Chest reward pool.
- Improve the success rate when using lower-tier parts for Skill Engraving on higher-grade Equipment.
Thank you for your valuable feedback and continued support.
We would like to suggest adding high-demand items such as 'Maester's Scroll', especially for players who have accumulated large amounts of Alliance currency through activities such as Golden Dragon donations.
We have received feedback that the limited selection of exchangeable items in the Alliance Shop makes it difficult to make effective use of Alliance currency.
Based on your valuable suggestions, we have reviewed this matter internally and plan to expand and improve the Alliance Shop lineup next quarter to provide more ways to use Alliance currency and better support player progression.
Additionally, the added back-turn motion increases the risk of the skill being canceled.
Therefore, I suggest swapping the effects between the original and enhanced versions of the skill.
We received your valuable feedback that the Assassin skill's usability deteriorated after enhancement.
We fully agree with your sharp analysis that changing to a single-hit skill lowers efficiency without a critical hit, and that the added movement increases the risk of cancellation.
Based on your feedback, we will thoroughly re-examine the actual gameplay feel of this skill.
We will review balance adjustments to ensure that enhanced skills truly deserve the name 'Enhanced' without suffering from reduced performance or efficiency.
We sincerely appreciate your thorough play and thoughtful suggestions.
To ensure a fair competitive environment, I suggest changing all ranking calculation systems to a ‘1 character per account’ standard.
We fully understand your disappointment regarding how 'Tokens' impacted the ranking system in the previous structure.
Starting with the upcoming Season 2, we plan to revamp the season system by clearly dividing it into two main directions.
1. Season Ranking' where only Dungeon Play Scores are reflected
Turning in Tokens will no longer affect the season score.
Season Ranking will now be determined solely by dungeon play scores.
2. 'Individual Achievement (Token) Track' Enjoyable at Your Own Pace.
Tokens are no longer for ranking competition and will now be used for individual achievement goals.
Turning in Tokens fills a separate progress bar instead of granting season scores.
You can claim rewards every time the gauge reaches specific thresholds.
In conclusion, starting from Season 2, we are preparing to offer two ways to enjoy the game.
Dungeon Score Rankings for competitive Lords, and Cumulative Token Rewards for Lords who play steadily.
However, the current limit of 75 characters is far too restrictive.
To enable seamless information sharing and prevent players from leaving, I request that the Alliance Notice character limit be significantly increased to 1,000 characters or more.
We fully understand your frustration with the current character limit when trying to share tips and strategies with your Alliance members.
We truly appreciate your warm heart in caring for your Alliance members.
We will actively reflect your valuable suggestion and expand the character limit for Alliance Notices so you can write detailed tips and strategies.
Specific schedule details will be announced as soon as update preparations are finished.
We once again deeply appreciate your passionate leadership.
I suggest creating a shop system that allows us to exchange repeatedly acquired Amulet designs for other ones.
We deeply sympathize with your frustration over being unable to complete your Amulet due to bad luck, even after challenging the Kraken for over a month and spending Golden Dragon.
We heavily acknowledge that your efforts do not bear fruit because of a single missing design, which comes from a system relying only on probability.
To resolve this issue, we will add an exchange shop for Amulet design.
Through this, players no longer need to depend only on luck and can steadily finish their Amulet with their time and effort.
Further details on the currency types and costs for trading design will be shared once ready.
We are moving quickly to bring you this update so that every bit of your hard work pays off.
I suggest adding higher difficulty stages so high-level players can still enjoy challenging content, and offering appropriate additional rewards upon clearing these higher difficulties.
We fully agree with your feedback, and we are preparing additional rewards along with 'Hard Mode' for the Altar of Lost Memories.
Hard Mode will operate in the following direction.
- Initial High Difficulty: It will open with a very high difficulty at first to give high-level Lords a real challenge and sense of achievement.
- Step-by-Step Adjustments: We will monitor the clear status and gradually lower the difficulty so that more players can enjoy it in the future.
Please kindly understand that the high difficulty upon release is an intended design.
The exact timing and details for Hard Mode will be announced in a separate notice as soon as they are confirmed.
I suggest categorizing readings by region, matching the counts shown in Achievements, and graying out uncollected entries to boost players' motivation to collect.
We have received your feedback regarding the difficulty of checking regional collection progress at a glance in the Codex, as well as your request to view unacquired readings as well.
As you suggested, we are reviewing improvements in the following direction to make collecting even more enjoyable
- Organize writings by region and allow players to check their collection progress for each region.
- Displaying unacquired readings in grayscale so that remaining collection goals are clearly visible at a glance
- Reviewing the addition of regional hints for unacquired writings to provide clues for your next collection goal
- Reviewing improvements to display related characters, Houses, and regions for each writings, allowing players to immerse themselves deeper into the world of Westeros while collecting
We appreciate your valuable feedback, as it allowed us to explore better directions for improvement
We will share further details regarding the implementation status and schedule once our review is complete.
We hope this lowers the difficulty leading up to end-game content, creating an environment where more Lords can comfortably enjoy the game.
We deeply sympathize with your intention of wanting newly growing Lords to settle in more smoothly.
However, directly distributing Legendary Weapons by tier could affect overall balance and the fun of growth, so we wish to approach this with caution.
Instead, we plan to provide high-value rewards that practically assist with early growth through upcoming content, such as level-up events and Chronicles.
Thank you.
I suggest simplifying the control process so that players can place the cursor on a desired reading and select it directly.
We apologize for the control inconvenience experienced when using the Codex via gamepad.
First, we will update the ‘Writings’ section of the Codex so that readings can be selected directly via the touch feature.
This makes normal gameplay difficult for the remaining party members.
Therefore, I suggest imposing a penalty for leaving in the middle of combat or changing the matchmaking criteria to Attack Power rather than Momentum.
We truly empathize with the frustration caused when a fellow party member leaves in the middle of combat, making normal gameplay difficult.
We will introduce penalties for leaving early so that other Lords' gameplay is not disrupted by such behavior.
We will provide an advance notice as soon as the implementation plan is finalized.
